1985 D dime. Is there anything special here?

  6. I have been trying to take a picture of it but every time I do my camera has black lines going through it and I have no idea why it's never done this before

  8. It tries to cover the coin no matter which way i move the camera or coin the black lines does its best to keep it covered

  12. Those lines don't show up on any other coin just that dime which is strange.

    Coinstar would probably kick it into the reject bin. It's taken some serious abuse.

    In your original post at 9:30pm the photos show up just fine. The posts from 9:36pm and later show the thick lines on the photos. Your coin is damaged so there's nothing special.

    Serious PMD and I'm pretty sure CoinStar will reject it, so just spend it somewhere.

    Your coin is damaged so spend it. Coinstar will reject it. As for the lines, are you having issues with operator error? Hehehe

    It is DEFDAM - Definitely Damaged.
    Not even the Coinstar machine will take it. It will get rejected!
