I have been trying to take a picture of it but every time I do my camera has black lines going through it and I have no idea why it's never done this before
It tries to cover the coin no matter which way i move the camera or coin the black lines does its best to keep it covered
In your original post at 9:30pm the photos show up just fine. The posts from 9:36pm and later show the thick lines on the photos. Your coin is damaged so there's nothing special.
Behind the damage is a poorly struck perimeter - especially prevalent on 1985-D dimes. This is discussed in a Coin World article: Many dimes from the 1960s through 1980s are found with a poorly-struck perimeter. It appears to stem from a combination of inadequate upset and excessive die convexity (primarily on the obverse die). http://www.coinworld.com/news/us-coins/2015/02/collectors--clearinghouse--legitimate-error-or-altered-coin-.all.html#
Your coin is damaged so spend it. Coinstar will reject it. As for the lines, are you having issues with operator error? Hehehe
