Hello everyone, Bought Half dollar coins and when I opened one roll I thought I found a silver Kennedy Half but when I looked at the date 1967 no mint mark and weighed it, it's weight is ll.4 grams. So now I'm assuming it's clad right? Normal clad should weigh 11.34 grams and 40% silver should weigh 11.50 right? But the rim on this coin looked silver so your thoughts please. Thank you
Looks like a 40% half. If you look closely at the edge, you can see the core is a little darker. What are the tolerances?
A 67' Kennedy is 40% silver. And should weigh 11.5. the 11.4 is still within tolerance. A 90% 64 and earlier will weigh 12.5
