    Hi guys,

Noob over here once again seeking your expert advice.

So, after I got my indian head pennies and you guys explained stuff to me, it got me curious and I ordered wheat pennies from amazon so i can kill sometime.

anyways, aside from the chit chat, I wanna ask you guys to take a look at this one I found. The S and the first 5 is partially filled in. Is this good or post and is it worth keeping or selling?

    Thanks again.

The color is an indication that these coins (1955) have been improperly cleaned. Destroying any possible value. (It didn't have anyway.)
When copper has that pinkish hue, that's not good.
Generally copper should be a more chocolate color. Unless it is MS and then there can be some brighter more lustrous colors. Like a new penny.
Pennies that are pink or orange have been scrubbed, or treated with harsh detergents/chemicals scraping away the outer patina layer and permanently damaging the coin.

i sell these all the time on ebay,it has some value over face even if it isnt a considerate ammount. It being cleaned doesnt help tho..:(

Vinegar/ salt, detergent has destroyed these coins.
Lemon juice/salt will clean copper jewelry, but it destroys coins.
Never put coins in these acids.
There are ways to gently wash coins. But as a rule you will ruin them.
As for selling damaged coins on EBay without full disclosure, no comment.
