    BTW - These silvers have very reflective surfaces. See the camera in the face?

    That is a great looking coin. I would LOVE for them to make that the standard circulating dollar--even if it had to be clad.

    I agree that this would be a better circulating coin than the current Presidential design.

    I like the Half better and they could use both.

    Totally agree. It is a fine looking coin. Even the unc. is sharp. I am glad I got both.

    A few years ago, I wouldn't have given an UNC a second look..... but now. This coin is so darn FWB (Frosty White and Beautiful) :eek:

    Anyone know the composition of these coins?

    All of our US commem dollar coins are made up with 90% silver and 10% copper. The same can be said of all half dollar commems from 84 and earlier which are made up out of the same 90/10 composition. The halves from 86 to present are made from a copper clad composition (92% copper/8% nickel) that is the same as our Kennedy halves.

    The 1993 Bill of Rights half dollar commem was silver also.

    Again a lovely coin Ruben but if I had to choose I think I would go with the half, it's those chicks you know LOL
