Cud on I and T, trail going edge to edge across the Lincoln memorial, trail in between the D and S going from edge connecting to the trail going across the lincoln memorial, trail under FG initials.
There is a difference between a chip that forms on the edge of a crack and a cud which is a die break along the rim that extends into the field. Tell your collector friend to stay in "school" and stop teaching. By the way, your photos are too small to judge if there actually is a crack and how far it extends across the coin. All I can see is someone with a shaky hand trying to put on their lipstick. Chris
Lol that's funny! Ok I will take better pictures and post them in a bit thank you for pointing that out!
Ppl will buy anything, the pet rock was a huge success, lol. Auction it on ebay, tons of ppl on there,if it's worth anything the bids will show.
A Cud must touch the rim as in this example: This is a large cud but it should give you the idea. Your coin has Die cracks and a die chip. It also has circulation damage but it's still a nice example. Welcome to CT.
