70S small date LMC

    I've had this one in a 2x2 for the past 30+ years. Forgot I had it and uncovered it during a recent move. Any thoughts on grade would be appreciated. Looks like maybe a small die chip in the S MM as well.

    AU. Too many scratches for me on the obverse. And some on the reverse. This
    coin circulated lightly.

    Thanks Michael. Based on some MS63 slabbed specimens I’ve seen for sale, I was hoping this one would be closer to those than your AU opinion.

    There are a number of allowable bag marks for MS coins,
    but it just seems as if there are too many actual scratches.
    Just an opinion I am not an expert. I like the MS to be a little
    better looking.
