1983D ddr?

Ok I read all about the 1983 DDR but couldn't find a thing on the 1983D and I found a 1983D so what does everyone think?

MD - Mechanical Doubling

 

I'm sort of a newbie but what does that mean

 

Not a Doubled Die Variety. Mechanical Doubling has nothing to do with a true Doubled Die and is considered worthless doubling.
