Toning is like art in that it is subjective to the individual collector. I collect toners,I love how even though there could be thousands, millions even billions of them minted,I have one that is different from all the others. Some are just outrageous in pretty greens, blues, reds, purples that they stand out rather than blend in with the other 10k of them and that is a few reasons why I enjoy buying toners. Don't get me wrong I love all coins, but when I see nice original toning rather than all blast white,I know the coin hasn't been messed with for some time. Even though toning is considered "damaged" by some. I see it as a evidence of not being messed with if the colors are correct and not AT
There must be a lot of dealers that think it is a gas damaging their product from the amount of toning fakers we see.
