His Majesty's Royal die clash?

    Looks like a big ol' die clash on this 1919 British penny. Anyone have any better ideas?

    i thought you were calling me "his majesty" and is aid what gives lol whats the other side of the coin look like if its the baldy king then we are definitely seeing a die clash baldy=edward the 7th

    Comparing what you have with his portait on a half penny, I'm pretty sure it is a die clash.

    Not a clash. This is called 'ghosting' and is very common on these coins. It's caused by the high relief of the bust and poor metal flow during the strike.
