Coin Show in PA

There is a coin show this weekend - Apr. 19th & 20th at the Holiday Inn in Dunmore PA.

One of the nice things about this show is that they have the dealers donate some items and have a Youth auction where they provide youths 12 & under with some funny money to bid on the provided items.

We went there 6 months ago where my son participated in the Youth auction and he walked away with 2 25 Cent Fractional notes with an approximate value of $25 apiece.

I will post coins/currency that I pick up at the show....my one goal here is to get a Carson City Morgan in a GSA holder....if I can even find on I can afford. We will see.

Darn. I wish I was up at Elk Mountain at my Poconos House for this coin show, but unfortunately I have lacrosse. I need to get some good deals on skis too!! Hopefully i stop by the Baltimore Whitman coins and collectibles show. That is one great show in early june (6-7 i think)

 

Small world, I can see Elk Mt. out my back window! I hope to make the show, but may have to work.

 

Too far for me this time, if any shows come up though that are an hour away from Altoona, I should be able to make it.

Haha that's pretty cool. I actually have a house near Camelback Mountain but Elk is the top mountain in PA by FAR.
