I have a 2000-P Sacagewea Dollar that is very odd. It weighs 6.80 grams, and has a very distinctive ring. The coin looks like it is a hammer-die error with multiple clash marks on the obverse and reverse. The clash marks are raised--not scratches. The edge has copper banding. Is this a counterfeit from Columbia, some type of mint error, or just strange.

Hi - Yes, it could be a counterfeit, but can't tell for sure
from your photos. It's not an error, that's for sure.

Thanks for coming here and posting as suggested.

looks interesting like a clash, interested to know what everyone thinks, I have an overlay witch may or may not be helpful, also wonder how it got so light. normally a thick edge. could be a drier coin? that wore the edge circular. don't know.
