Meow has found this 1990d penny with a die chip on the reverse. Meow has found two wasp's nest pennies CRH, but this is not the usual spot for a die chip.
@i2i has accused members here of lying to him and saying his coins are not errors to somehow protect their eBay sales of error coins. This is obviously ridiculous, but I decided the best way to show him how ridiculous it is, is for him to see these same members validating an actual error.
Meow can understand that Members here can be a bit harsh towards newbies, and their newbie inexperienced questions. And when newbies refuse to accept the answers given by the more knowledgeable, it causes frustration on both sides. But to say things about protecting their own ebay sales is really off base. Meow would invite @i2i to read all of Meow's posts, as Meow is a relative newbie. And see how Meow has learned and evolved over a short time. And they will see that most members are happy to see other members make nice finds. But will be irritated and harsh towards members who keep posting rubbish, and refusing to accept said rubbish, is rubbish.
That individual is on ignore. I find that with enough whacknoodles on ignore, most threads become much more pleasant. I do see the occasional reply to said whacknoodle, but I just skip over them.
It does sort of look like that because the chip is a bit worn down. If it had less circulation wear, Meow thinks it would look like a typical die chip. The color of the chip is perfectly identical to the rest of the coin too.
Now who could hat Cats! I have 4, well 6 in my house at the moment-- lol. As I said before, lovely die chip.
