Nice. With the plancets being harder than the copper cents and silver coins, you have to figure that - beyond leaving a mark - that kind of crash made some serious noise.
I am not so sure it's genuine and think it was altered. There are design elements on the raised relief on his neck and ponytail. Those are recessed areas of the die, not raised. A clash would not leave them struck into recessed areas. I think it could be a modest and weak attempt by squeezing. But then again, the high points on his ponytail weren't flattened...hmm.....
I was thinking that. But both areas are raised. And it is hard to say that it clashed in a thicker area. Which I thought was really cool. You don't find any like that.
The pony tail part in question is close to the same surface as the field. So to me it's a genuine Die Clash. I personally would call this a mild clash.
