You saw that too huh? I just stopped bidding and watched in awe. That fellow had some of the nicest Lincolns I have seen on the bay in a long time, and you saw what happened !!!! I bid HIGH on at least 1/2 a dozen of those and was completely blown right past......

Did you notice that all of the high priced ones were ANACS new holders? Not sure I understand that.

    BTW, that 1913-S AU-55 closed at $206.

IMO it's too late to get on the Lincoln bandwagon.
Probably have to wait until about 2010-2011 before the dust settles from the 2009 Lincoln anniversary.

You might want to look around for some other series that's being ignored during this Lincoln stampede.

    Hi phoenix,

    For example?

From what I've seen, the lincoln market has skyrocketed in anticipation of the new cents in '09. Where it seems to have hit the hardest is with the second tier scarcities, rather than the keys. I've started shopping for an '09S-VDB and in MS64RB it's still running about $3000.

    your thoughts?

    thanks,

    rono
