    They look like they are made to look like Spanish coins from the 1600s. But, they look like modern reproductions to me - something you might get in a gift shop. Look at the edges - is there a seam around the edges? If so, they are modern copies.

    Both are replicas.

    As mentioned, they are tourist replicas of Spanish gold doubloons (treasure cobs).

    They sell them in a lot of Florida gift shops.

    They are both replicas, the small one looks like a copy of a 1716 8 escudo, the larger on is a copy of a coin from the mexico city mint but I'm not sure about the denomination. Since it is larger I would think either 4 or 8 reales.
