I found a variety of the lesser 1936 ddo & ddr varieties. These two appear to be the 001 & 003(?) with wear on numbers and letters, one more-so than the other.
This photo is of my DDO-1 on a VF. I can see where you might be excited, but I am torn between a possible DDO and wear/dings. You will probably have to go with in hand evaluation by someone who has experience or send to a TPG. But I would really try to get closer but still sharp photographs if you want help here. Jim
Nice photo Jim. OP you will have to get us better photos like Jim said. These do not show any detail of the doubling.
Just posting what I found. Here are a few more pics of the main find. Granted your pic is better and the date isn't as worn as mine. Of course, there are stages of the ddo, AND not all strikes are the same. So, every one will not necessarily appear the same. This befuddles many other posters. If you zoom in slightly on the 1st pic right penny, you'll see enough of the doubled serifs on the 6 and 9 to identify the 001. People who post things like "just look like fat numbers and letters from wear", when the coin is in overall fine condition will never find anything. Better for us! Of course, now they will say it's nowhere close to fine....blah blah blah. Lol
I'm not seeing a short and plain statement of the claim showing that the pleader is entitled to relief. FRCP 8(a)(2). As such, your complaint is dismissed.
Blind leading the blind. Do you guys have 64 bit computers? If so, you'll never have good enough resolution to make up for your poor observation skills.
Sorry if I tried to educate you. Fat lettering IS a sign of doubling. Look it up. Oh, I'm such a jerk for being knowledgeable and attempting to educate the masses....
The '36 is a hard one to dx. Did you edit your original post? Somehow I didn't see you were going for those two.
Letters that are partially fat are such signs of doubling in a particular direction. Type or class VI if I remember correctly. Wear produces letters that are fat all over. My computer is a Ryzen7-1700X, RX-570 with 4 GB VDU. 8 cores, 40 " UHD Screen if you were asking me. I am very happy with it. Jim
This one coneca FS-101(14) . http://varietyvista.com/01a LC Doubled Dies Vol 1/1936PDDO001.htm I'm also using xp, as a operating system ...
I suspect that he got along very well with Lahti and Bobs Tavern Arm. Makes you wonder, doesn't it? Chris
This does appear to show doubling, but your photos are of very poor quality. I see 20/20, so spare me with personal attacks on my vision and accept that you need to provide better photos if you want us to be able to determine you have something.
