1969 D (I think). The front of the coin .....

    Grease usually results in a soft, mushy strike. Since it's emanating from the rim and extends into the fields it's more than likely just PMD.

    Coin is off center look at planchet wide on one side narrow on the other the l in liberty should be closer to the edge when their like that you sometimes see a strike through the coin wheaties are popular for that.I have 2 where the metal from the planchet got stuck on the date I see something happened around the date.

    Sorry but your coin is damaged as @JickyD posted. Notice how the edges of gouges are slightly raised? That's displaced metal that was pushed up by whatever hit the coin. You would not see this effect on filled dies or strike throughs.

    @carra's coins is referring to a misaligned die (MAD). It is NOT an off centered strike. These are not considered errors and add no additional value. You'll see lots of these so it's helpful to know the difference, especially if you're going to offer opinions to other new collectors.
