    The coin was damaged the number took a hit.
    No need to send it to Potter.

    The look of the chin always catches my eye not to mention the doubling on the bow tie.

    It would be more helpful if your photos were taken directly over the coin and not at an angle. Also, most members post photos of both sides of the coin. Just trying to help.

    Come on Thomas we can all see the coin roller mark damaging that Zero, maybe a 6.

    Thank you. I could clearly see that . All I was trying to do was have him post any future photos correctly. Perhaps that what I should have said but it's too late now.

    Hi Everyone,

    I'm new to coin collecting and came across this interesting penny. Looks like it's dated 1966, and I was wondering if this was an error coin...I cannot find another penny like this one online,..Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. :)

    Welcome to CT,that is just a damaged coin no value beyond 1 cent.
    It is referred to as PMD post mint damage.
