They are interesting but really common.
Put it in a flip and label it for your own reference.

@Sasha D Marshburn ...Welcome to Coin Talk. "Interesting" is a relative word. Personally, I find it interesting when I find a well struck coin. Or an older one that has survived the ravages of circulation and is still collectable

Earlier this AM I ran across a 1994-P quarter that still had almost all the breast feathers on the eagle, rough grade/raw at AU58. I usually set these aside to take a closer look later.

Most of the coins you find in circulation are going to have wear or environmental damage, or mis-shapened letters or numerals. All of this is termed post mint damage (PMD), meaning, after it left the mint. Study the die creation process, the minting process as a whole and what constitutes an error. You will become a better collector and learn a lot.

Go to doubleddie.com, error-ref.com and lincolncentresource.com to access tons of helpful information. Also, buy a Yeoman Red Book...it has a cornucopia of basic, useful information for all U.S. denominations.

Good luck, keep searching and let us know what you find...Spark

Get out now! That is how battered and abused women end up dead. Run to a large city in another state. You are more likely to find services for battered and abused women in large cities.

Hobby lobby and most book stores have flips also. Look for a coin shop in your area. I used to live in West TN. So if you are in a small town. Wizard will be your best bet.

Welcome to our neighborhood Sasha. cpm9ball is absolutely correct. Run and don't look back. As a former Sheriff's detective I worked sex assault and abuse cases and have seen the worst of what can happen. I have no idea what your circumstances are, but move quickly to get out. If he has access to your computer, be sure to delete your cookies and caches or he can see where you've been.
Keep looking at your coins as it's a fun way of distraction. Good luck.

Maybe @GDJMSP can help to delete anything that might help enable him to identify you from your posts. Even a blind squirrel can find an acorn.

I removed the indicated material, but one the slight chance you might be using a real photo, you might want to switch it out in your user control panel. Jim

  17. Do any of y'all know anything about 1$ bills? Something is off here... all the bills have E's 5's and some occurrence on the actual bill it'sself. Like one star note that has 00 +88

All from Richmond, Virginia. The star note is a replacement note. When the bills are printed they eventually end up in stacks of 100 consecutive serial numbers. If any one of the stack contains a defective bill that bill is removed and destroyed. A star note is put in its place to keep the stack at 100 bills.

  19. Are any of them worth anything

Sasha, the short answer is no, imo. The bills are not "mint state", as in folded and circulated, none are sequential and none have repeating numbers of the kind currency collectors like to keep.

Some people maintain the star bills are special, but, as explained in the earlier post, just because it is a replacement bill to keep stack counts correct, to me, doesn't impart any special interest.

    Hope this helps...Spark
