HI TO EVERYONE, according to your experience on which scale does this coin fit? I think among the above XF40. Greetings

With the edge dents and wear it should fit in at VF 20. IMO.
It is a nice key date coin due to low mintage.

if you like I want to sell it here in Italy, there is no particular interest in an Argentinian coin, perhaps in America some collector would be interested in this series of coins that remains very rare given the print run of just 88 thousand pieces. if someone wants you can make an offer

No selling here, Gianni. If you want to offer it, please post it in the "For Sale" forum as per CoinTalk rules.

your analysis is not complete ... 88 thousand well 137 years ago, we are talking about a 2 cents coin, so much used and circulated in those times, maybe today it is too much if we have reached us according to my research maybe a few dozen pieces if we know of 1882, an intelligent collector can easily pay $ 150/200 even as VF20

certainly today Argentina is not a happy country on an economic level maybe it will return to it in the future !!! however, I think that in a country like Argentina with over 40 million inhabitants there are a hundred or so collectors of coins from Argentine history and if they put the dos centavos in the collection, they must insert the first to be minted, that is, 1882, I don't think they will may satisfy the demand of these collectors given that only a few specimens are known alive, I think that the price "in the future" can reach high levels for 1882. It may be a good idea for a strong lever investment, traders are looking for a lot of these pieces to then sell them in the future at high prices. greetings from Italy

I'm with Plano on this ... too much wear even for a VF-20. The hair and flags are almost worn smooth. I'd say F-15. Even though there were only 88k minted and less than 500 remain, you've got to find a collector who wants an F-15 Argentina coin who doesn't already have one. I'd say $20-25US if you can find a buyer

...uhmm, 500 pieces of 1882 I would say an exaggerated amount I tell you that at most there will be 50 pieces. The status of the currency is an opinion that I respect but you understand that you are looking at a 50kb photo made by the phone. To me they have learned that if I make a collection of a kind of coins and I have difficulty finding MS60 because they cost too much or even not exist for 2 copper centavos of 1882, I can at the moment insert a VF and then with time I can always replace it if I find better and resell the most worn, but what is important is to put it in the collection and so I am satisfied with what is on the market and from my researches of this 1882 there is no news and not even the photos even have certain catalogs

...when looking for a coin to understand how many there are on the market the first thing you go on ebay where you really find everything! And yet of the CENTAVOS DOS of 1882 you don't find even 1 piece, this indicates that this piece is really hard to find, maybe a few dozen pieces preserved and nobody thinks to sell them

    I am also at VF.
While that listing says $60 there are a number of factors.
That is how much you would pay in a retail coin shop for this coin.
A dealer might pay you $20 if he thought he had a buyer.
If you are an EBay seller you "might" get $20-$30 depending on the auction
and if more than 1 person is interested. But world coins can be a softer market
even with 88,000 which is low mintage. There's just SO MANY world coins,
years, countries, denominations, metals, that the prices you get for an 88,000 minted coin could be in the $20 range no matter what the price guide says.
And you will be lucky to even get that $20.
