1983 cent,shattered die,die break ?

    At first glance I thought that this was just plate blistering and sat it to the side. After closer inspection and a little research I think that this may be a die break/shattered die.

    On the Obverse there looks to be a die crack from rim to rim,along with possibly a small cud above the S in trust.
    On the Reverse it looks like catastrophic failure,lol. Let me know what you guys think

    Scratch and environmentally damaged surfaces

    What you see on it all occurred after it was in
    circulation. Not an error, sorry

    It's a damaged cent with glue or corrosion on the reverse.

    It resembled alot of the examples I was coming across,I wasnt sure. The front scratch went from rim to rim without obscuring the actual rim itself...idk...bummer

    A die crack would be raised on the coin.
    What you have is a scratch that has displaced the metal. Most of the rest you see on the coin are plating blisters.
