Then dont look at any of my post. That would be the smart thing to do. But I know you cant help yourself. You must have that Amos disease.
Here we go ! Be nice to each other we are all here for the same reason . To learn , to help , and to be friendly. Name calling is unacceptable , and being blunt with out explanation does not help either. Now shake coins , and become friends !! I for one have been noticing lots of this type of interaction , and have found myself drawn into these situations because of my opinions. Just trying to head in a new direction , and hope you guys help each other , and become friends and head in a positive direction as well. Now I will mind my business instead of yours. Ya all have a wonderful day .
I'd rather not speak to said person. I agree we are all supposed to be here to get or give help. I have found they're some on her th as t are very respectful and let you down instead of tripping you or pushing you down. I will admit I dont know much about coins as said person. But i will not be treated like I'm his or her child.
Just ignore what you do not like , and do not let yourself get drawn into a battle of who said and does what , it is not worth your time. The other guy is a good guy , but we just like to be helpful instead of displaying this type of interaction to any new members that may log in to this , or other posts where this type of nonsense is happening. I am just one of the members trying to help you both out . It is not my business although I did not want this to get blown out of proportion , it is not good for anyone. Post as you wish and your right if people do not like what your doing the best thing for them is to move on . I think certain members get tired of people listing and posting coins that are only worth face value to say. Some members like the person posting to do some research on the coins their posting , and to have a valid question about the coin or coins . Just an observation I have noticed over the last couple of years. Keep on posting , and look I forward to your finds. dillan
I'm past all that. It's all good. I'm just like everyone else looking for that gem. I'm also like all new comers wanting everything I find to be that gem. If I was an expert on all coins and came across an up and coming collector. I would certainly know that they was wanting that coin that has been run over by a fleet of semi trucks to be worth a mint. I sure hope I never crush someone by telling them they have junk. I also hope to treat everyone on here as a newbie. Because you're never to good to learn something. Who knows I may post something on here worth a mint and not know it. Isnt that what posting pictures is for? If you keep striking out you shouldn't give up. Who knows one may not be a strike. Instead a holy grail.
Way to go , keep on trying , keep posting your finds for advice if you want. I like your attitude , I know it is a drag when you think you found something good , and it turns out to be a dud. But you know we all do the same thing , day in and day out , hoping to find the one that will give a boost in our economic situation. I must have 10000 pennies to look through , I hope to find something good in all of those but that will take me years to do . My best find was a 1960 RPM Lincoln Double D mint mark listed as the number one on Coneca and Wexler. Joe just keep on posting and looking , that's what it is all about. I wish you the best of luck in finding that very special gem that puts a huge smile on your face , and possibly a few grand in your bank account or more. !! Dillan
1982 large date, wide A M, and for what it's worth, I took the furryfrog02 comment as being tongue in cheek, not malicious, but that's just my opinion.
I am no expert either , but will help you as much as I can , with what little I do know about certain coins and so forth. Dillan
Were all good people here , the first comment okay the second I did not agree with but it was not totally off the wall . I know once Joe gets used to how certain people answer , he will find that is just the way some people are , and that there was no harm intended , Furry frog is a good guy , to the point , and gives you his honest opinion . What may be junk , to him may be something that someone else treasures . It is a darn good thing were all not alike or this would be an awful boring forum .
Let me go ahead and step up first. I'm sorry I pull my pistol when I think theres a barrel pointed at me.
We all have a tendency to do the same thing, but if we can stop for a minute and take it for what it is worth , we would most likely come up with a different response . That is understandable , and it happens on here more then I like to see , but were all human and react differently any given situation. The best thing that I can say is that 99.99 % of the members here are all great people who like to help . I ,have days when I know after the fact it would have been better if I had not turned the computer on that day. I end up saying something that I regret , and once said it is hard to take back . Your doing good Joe it will get easier as you learn more . It is always good to take the first step , and you have done your part and that is good. Have a nice day and evening . Dillan
