Meow's penny CRH for the day is going well. Meow just found a 1919 ender too. But Meow has found something that Meow thinks is a clip. Meow has not ever found anything like it before. So you guys think its a legit clip?

I am certainly no expert, but it sure looks like a clip. Where did meow find it.

Meow is in the process of doing the daily CRH and found it. Meow seems to have got a good batch. As one roll had a 1919 ender. And some random Wheats, a little more of them than usual.

Please show us pictures of the whole coin, so we can see the area opposite the clip/dent/whatever. You may be able to see the Blakesley effect there.

Ummmm, but Meow did show pics of both sides of the clip. Yea, but they did come out a bit blurry . Would you like Meow to try again?

Ah, the complexities of three dimensions. :)

I meant the area diametrically opposite the clip, not on the opposite face of the coin. Your close-up shots are good, but it would be more useful to have a shot showing the whole coin -- actually, two shots, one of each face.

What was meant was the opposite side of the clip..
That why you always should show the entire coin and both sides.

I don't see a Blakesley. Just like any cato_O it was deceptive from the start.
Not a clip nd hammered a little to try and get the Vote.

Not all clipped coins have a Blakesley Effect. It has a lot to do with design position.
There does seem to be a thin edge just below the 6 of the date.

WOW! You have a good eye. The rim in the opposite direction of the clip is VERY slightly smooshed, on both sides. It is so slight, Meow never would have noticed it if you did not mention it

Cats are deceptive from the start???? Them is fightin words. No. Cats are not inherently deceptive. Wrong premise.

Not exactly meant to be fighting words.
And I will change it to most have ulterior motives.
I still am not seeing a clip.
    But hey, carry on.

The curve of the clip does not look smooth, and lack of Blakesly effect makes me suspicious.
