Ole abe maybe gaining waight

Has anyone notice that over the year ole abe has gotten a double chin or an Adam's apple

The master die has changed a few times over the years.

 

Also.. Plated Zinc Cents can have bubbles and blisters. Your Cent is plated.

 

I thought all cents after 82 were plated

 

The ones that are made for circulation are. In 2009, the Lincoln 200 birthday cents that went into Proof sets were solid bronze. I think that the later Proof cents are bronze, but I will to check on that.
