The coin looks to be in nice condition , however the picture are not clear enough . Try to take a better picture and re-post them under this thread and you should get some opinions from the great bunch of people on this site.

The 1907-A is a common date. The A mint mark indicates it was minted in Berlin. While it looks nice from what I tell from your pics, I think the retail value would be in line with what @Michael K posted

Railguy. Your photos may not be the best in the world, but I expect you'll send some better ones. Apart from that, what also might help is a verbal description of both sides of the coin. That could be part of the package. Thanks. :snaphappy: P.S. Not forgetting the edge.

    Glen/Railguy. F.y.i. Ebay sells 1 Mark 1907 for £7.60 (pounds, not dollars !).

I believe the mark is their equivalent to the dollar, and back in 1907, silver had not rocketed in value. So its a good chance its silver, as was ours back in the day.
Rarity and condition do come into play, but not so much with non USA coins.

The 1 Mark was almost worth the same as a quarter, and they are the same size.

Your coin looks XF, based on the photos. It's worth between $6-$10.
