Insane my dude. I might have something of my own to compete with find of the week. I will post it in 10 min-ish.

Keep in mind the 1932D and S were counterfeited extensively (a 1932 Philadelphia coin with an added D or S) due to those two being the lowest mintage date mint combinations for the series. Google up some pics of original mint marks for those two. Coin facts should be helpful. What a great deal on the lot no doubt!!

Here's a few reference pics for a NGC au55 1932D. No promises on picture quality of course! IMG_4696.JPG IMG_4698.JPG IMG_4697.JPG

Oh come on, who would counterfeit quarters? And that long ago.

A Genuine Counterfeit Quarter would be really neat to have.

Good point. Everyone knows brand new shiny quarters are way better.

George McClellan I have one. The size is correct. The weight is slightly heavy. 5.9g

Thanks. Evidently went sailing right over your head, unfortunately. How did they fabricate the wear, Sherlock? Answer that one, you think you can...

Wow! No reeded and a duck's head. No need for a magnet.

Something about the mm's and the reeding just looks "off" to me. I am certainly no expert on quarters. But it doesn't feel right to me.

That's what we call "damage." It's not what we call "wear." Just a little FYI for you, there's a difference in the two, and it makes all the difference in the grading tiers, those tiers being, "Circulated" and "Uncirculated."

Trust me for once, will you? If the wear on those quarters can be fabricated, I'm a horse's ass... :)

Now, come on. Most people need a pretty upscale drafting kit to put together a straight line like that. ;)

No, Eddie, way more recently and not so much counterfeits as added mint marks. They fact is the OPs coins look legit to me too, but it’s worth it to take to a reputable person to authenticate them.

You got something to say, get it off your chest and say it. :)

Mike, I thought he’s talking about the whole lot. If it’s an added mm here and there yes of course I agree.
