I found this in a junk box at my flea market today for a dollar, and all my tests are suggesting an accidental silver planchent! I will be acid testing it soon, and will update you!

Wo, hold up. Did you say acid bath! I don’t think ol’ George can take it at his age!

Nah, just a small scratch, then I put nitric acid on the scratch mark. If it turns white, it is silver. If not, it's just normal, and I am just being over enthusiastic.
(A small explanation for those who are not familiar with silver testing kits)

Well my tests are showing possiblity. If it tests possitive, I might have something. Still need to find the kit though.

What tests? Specific gravity test? Tissue paper test? Sound test?

It rung silver with other silver coins, and does not stick to a magnet.

Have you weighed it? Do you own a gram scale?

Ok.. The half crown looks dark through the tissue. That would make it not silver. It should be bright. Failed.

Then the silver tested positive George quarter isn't silver

And the clad Lowell quarter is silver

Sorry.. I doubt it is silver. Not enough proof.
I will not continue with this thread.
    Good luck.
