1916 Wheat, proof or not?

Ive had this beauty for some time now and have got mixed direction on if its a proof. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. Also if anyone has any proof Wheaties 1916 and earlier, i would love to see them.

From what I can tell from the rims, it's not a proof.

 

Show us the edge. It should be very straight and sharp.

If it is a proof, it's very rare. They only have about 1,050 today worth over $1,100 dollars. Check out the history of the coin.

Check the rims, should be 90 degrees not a chamfer. ( rounded)

 

Not a proof. 1915 and 1916 wheats were always pretty well struck and can be mistaken for proofs. However, the proofs are even more well struck, and of course the rims are usually very full, squared, and sharp.

 

The 90˚ angle also pertains to the inside edge.
