i know this isn't a new thread but has any one gotten any 2008 coins in change yet other than the quarter and dollar? every bank i have went to has said that they havent receved any yet. and i haven't receved any in change yet . i was just wondering if WV was behinb in receving the 3008's wvrick:headbang:
So far have got pennies, Oklahoma quarters, and Monroe dollars in change (the dollars from RTD ticket machines). Not seen any 2008 nickels or dimes yet.
Either it's me, my area or Illinois is being ignored by the Mint. Might be something I've said in the past. I'm just starting to see a lot of 2007 coins. I didn't even know the 2008's were made yet at least as far as this state is concerned.
my brother has gotten 2 monroes and a washington dollar that's it and he had to trade them outta the register at walmart
We found our first 2008 cent last weekend - dropped face down in a supermarket parking lot. More legitimately (?) I received two 2008 cents in change at the Post Office. One of those will go into Thalia Elizabeth's folder.
I got a 2008-D Nickel yesterday. It was the first 2008 coin I have yet to receive. We usually have at least cents by now, but I started a thread in or about February asking if anyone had seen any 2008 coins yet. I was going to post about it last night, but I figured by this time, I was the last person on the planet that hadn't gotten any. Well, I guess we're all slow to see them this year after all.
I just found one Thursday... I drive a car for the university (part of Parking Services) and I saw a cent that had fallen down, and it was a 2008-D. So obviously someone got it in change... lol
I got two 2008D dimes in change today, asked the store manager if they had plenty more and got a roll. That's cent, nickel and dime down here plus the first quarter and dollars of the year.
