Does anyone have any mint specs on this coin? I win it as a door prize and know nothing about it. I searched online but couldn't find anything. I'm sure I'm over looking it. The coin looks proof but circulated. It looks (the edge), feels and sounds like silver.
    Any help would be appreciated.

I did. Don't need you to tell me that! I looked for a stinkin hour and couldn't find that link/page!! If I can take the time and post detailed pictures like the ones above, you don't think I can search the internet?

Thanks onecenter! I guess Trinidad and Tobago copper is the color of silver! ;)

Numista is your go-to for identifying world coins. Easy to navigate and their catalog is probably as complete as you'll find.

Copper-nickel alloy coins look a bit different than U.S. copper-nickel clad coins. Perhaps that led you to think it was silver.

Yes, that's exactly what I was thinking about regarding that silver look. I have zero experience with world coins. Thanks very much for the info and positive feedback! icon_smile_thumbsup.gif

Privileged to be here? Okay, thank you!

No one forced you to answer my question or comment on my question. If you don't like the question or post, do yourself a big favor and just move on to the next thread! You must be one of "God's gifts" to this forum!

Did you say: Waste "our" time answering his "stupid" questions? How many years have you been here wasting "your" time trolling this forum?

And I feel my comments might have influenced the mishiganaw just a bit.

Now I'm going to take my pants off and lie down. You folks out there in CT land, cast a blind eye. You don't want to see this.

God Love ya, good nite folks........:)

Exactly! Not a problem @green18. Apology accepted. It's when others pile on that rubs me the wrong way.

Kenny, you handled yourself like the gentleman you are. Paddy, you handled yourself differently. That's all I'm going to say on that. Goodnight all from me as well...
