2007 D quarter silver. Help?

    When the State Quarters were introduced, some of the hucksters got the great idea that they could suck more money from the unsuspecting public by using those uncirculated clad coins that did not grade high and plate them with silver or gold or platinum and sell them in "special sets" at outrageous prices.

    When the suckers realized that they had been fleeced and the coins were only worth face value, they oftentimes dumped them back into circulation, and we still see them posted here from time to time by new collectors who think they have found something valuable.
