I have been working on a type collection of small size US $1 currency. It starts at 1928 issues and will go through the 1957 issues. So, except for the very first $1 bill, they will all be Silver Certificates. I don't think any will cause the US currency market to stand up and cheer, but they are all nice representative items of their particular issue (taking into account their catalog value). I will be showing them three at a time since I can only fit three on my scanner AND editing takes a bit of time. The first is the only United States Note that fits in the "small size US $1 currency" category. The second is the first issue of the 1957 $1 Silver Certificates. The third is the 1957-A $1 Silver Certificates. If this is of interest to you I'll continue with it as I scan and edit them.
Very interesting and not bad notes. Thanks for posting. BTW: The Silver Certs are 1928 but that's even more cool.
I am surprised your scanner allows you to scan these bills. My scanner software updated itself and now I get a message that I can no longer scan paper money (or some words to that affect).
