came across two dimes, one has wide rim edges and thins on opposite side, the other the nose and eyebrow has extra dipped markings. I can actually feel the extra raised dot marking. Would this increase value?
The images are way too small to make serious evaluations. Think of it this way, if you were interested in buying those coin, would you do so based on those images?
I posted a much larger photo. You can see the extra metal on the nostril and above the eyebrow. It should have a smooth look. If I was a coin collector an this was a rare dime, yes I would purchase. But if it’s not, then no, I would not.
Those are all common anomalies that can happen during the minting process. It does not increase the value of that coin.
@Tondy79 ...the 2000-P is a mis-aligned die (MAD) strike (common, as reported), and the 2017-P has what is called "die chips", also a very common artifact produced by the minting process...Spark
