I've seen better images taken from traffic cameras.... I think a better "guess the" would be how much money the seller left on the table due to crummy images...
The pictures of the Morgan with the whole slab make it look less than DMPL. Maybe there is a nefarious reason why there are no decent pictures.
CDN says $1,150. Give it another 10 percent with CAC. I’m sure it’ll get bid up. But those pictures give me a lot of pause.
PCGS and CAC are a plus. The crappy photos are a huge minus. Even without seeing someone had posted the CDN data, my gut instinct was $1150 which is apparently Greysheet value.
I was especially curious to ask what others think about it's final sales price cause of the poor photos. It looks like this could go under market value as a result.
Strategically placed poor photos make people greedy, so this will sell for way more than I could ever get for it.
eBay buyer protection will have your back, but something about listings like this always makes me hesitate. Pictures of pictures makes me think the person might not actually have that item and “borrowed” the images from some other source. Of course it could just be someone who doesn’t know the best way to download/save pictures or can’t get good pictures on their own. If I liked the coin enough, I would likely risk it.
I do like the coin, but I think it is too risky. As far as I am concerned, there is no guarantee that it looks anything like my imagination tells me it might. The photos are no help, and may not be real. There would be the temptation to snipe it at the last second, but the whole listing looks shaky.
I have a sneaky suspicion someone on CT is gonna win this thing but noone is gonna say until the coin is on its way in the mail. Post better photos whoever wins!
I thought it was two different coins from the pic's. One pic shows clear facial marks and the other pic is clean
