It is no secret I like to collect BU year set. I started putting them together to commemorate the birth years of my loved ones, Mom, Dad, my wife and myself. It soon started as a task to put together both P&D sets starting 1964 and going as far back as I can...afford. For almost two years I have been looking for a 55P nickel to finish my wifes birth year set. I have a very nice BU Bugs Bunny for her half. Anyway For almost two years I have not been able to find a BU nickel "locally". To the point: Someone here at CT had a post about not being able to find BU nickels and someone else responded with some web sites that sold nickels. One was Komka Coins. I looked at their site and their prices were very reasonable so I order the 55P and another nickel a 58D, I also needed and could not find. Well I just want to say that when I got those coins I could not have been happier. I have no affiliation with these guys except for being a very happy customer. I just think with all the trouble people have with e-bay and I assume other places, places like Komka should get some recognition for do an honorable business in the coin world. I for one will be doing more business with them when can afford to. Thanks again Komka!!! Allen the Happy:smile
Congrats on completing the year set, Allen! No feeling like seeing something to completion. BTW, thought I'd chime in as well... I purchased coins from Komka Coins as well and frankly, I couldn't be happier. Prices were reasonable and coins were as described. hya: Highly recommend.
