2014 D Nickel Why 5.50g?

    So I was checking thru some coins rejected from my bank coin machine. This Nickel weights 5.50g. 2014 D I'm wondering if it's the wrong planchet? What do you guys think?     Looks like there is some kind of bezel on it.

    I thought it might be like cud around the bottom but doesn't seemed like its raised.

    It's not an error, whatever it is.

    There's obviously something on the
    surfaces, and some damage on the
    rims, as well as something maybe around
    the rims- that's probably why it's a bit
    overweight. PMD/Damaged.........
