I have some high hope's for this submission and I think I'll likely keep all of the coins in it once graded. The pieces in this submission were all very appealing and I hope NGC thinks so as well. The 1921 2 peso is very beautiful, original and well struck with a fantastic frosty cartwheel.

Man, that little Ceylon elephant is adorable. Love the rectangular Oaxaca piece, too. It's all nice stuff, but the elephant charms me the most.

My PCGS submission grades dropped yesterday, and the coins are shipped.

Of the two I was most interested in seeing the results on, I got XF45 on the Reigate Hoard groat. I'm pleased. Don't yet know if they put the pedigree on the label or not. It doesn't say anything about that on the cert page at present. Maybe that dealer flip insert I provided wasn't enough documentation. Doesn't matter so much either way. The pedigree on the label would be nice, but that's a minor detail. The TrueView images came out nicely.

I got Fine Details/Environmental Damage on the 1682 Johanna shipwreck cob. No huge surprise there, since it's a shipwreck piece, after all, though I'm told this was a beach find from the site. My first concern was getting the pedigree on the label, which it appears they did, since it's mentioned on the cert page. My second concern was getting that rather large and oblong coin into a standard sized holder. (My albums will not take oversized holders.) The cert page says "PCGS Gold Shield" with no note of an oversized holder, so maybe it's in a standard holder. Or maybe they just don't mention oversized holders on the cert page. I'll know soon enough, when the coins come home.

So this stuff is on its way back now, after five weeks. The groat is a keeper for sure. The cob I might keep and I might flip. We'll see. I'm likely facing the need to sell some more stuff again soon. I'm pretty much resigned to the fact that my collection is a revolving door, but I still have plenty of fun with it.

But enough about my submission. Good luck on yours. Hope it comes out OK. I look forward to seeing the results.

Glad the results came back great for you! That groat is awesome. After you picked that up I considered adding it to my list of coins I'd like to have. As always, I enjoy seeing your pick ups.

I like the elephant coin too. It seems to me from some searching it is pretty rare in its condition. I was thrilled to win these 6 coins and hope the results are good. It also looks like the current turnaround time is pretty fast.

@Mkman123 I did get my other results back and they are posted on my first submission page.

As far as I'm concerned, this submission was a home run! I'm pleased with all the grades and stoked to have these in my collection.

I think the gold peso is a Top Pop coin too looking at the pieces graded.
