1970s LD LMC error

    floating roof, from over polishing of the die, looks cool, but more of an anomaly than an error,

    Fair enough, but the anomaly is a cool one to find, especially in this condition!

    I've probably made some mistakes in posting this thread as I am a little new to this site. The software is a bit cumbersome.

    The 1937d 5c was an anomaly and look what happened with it.

    yea but that was only 1 year, the floating roof can be found on many years and on a lot more coins, i've thrown well over a hundred of these back into circulation while coin roll hunting over the years..may have kept one or two nicer ones tho, not sure...
