    65/58 (Yes the second one is pretty, but I personally wouldn't pay MS money for it).

    I think I see slide marks on the reverse of the 2nd coin. I’m thinking it details graded.

    You nailed it! Confounding reveal. My head exploded.....CAC knows best??? Was the observation of the circular scratch under the L in Liberty enough for an AU grade for the 43?
    Apparently, the relative flatness at high points on the 46-S was the result of a relatively weak strike, not wear.... several unknowns gleaned from photos, thus my opinion that the coins best be graded in hand. That’s my excuse and I am sticking with it.

    Are we Coin Talk graders that poor or did C-B-D throw us a curve ball? C-B-D, do you have explanation for our failing grade on these GTG coins?
