    Yes, I was one of the 1.5 million vistors who saw the collection at the Philadelphia Mint.

    I am sorry that the mint did not get their collection back. All the Smithsoian does is keep most of the coins in the vault where few people ever see them. Looking at the old pictures of the display room at the old (third) Philadelphia Mint, it looked like most of the coins could be seen by the public.
