It looks like he has that hook-nose of Vespasian to me. I am no expert though. Looking forward to what more knowledgeable people have to say.
It's a common Rome mint Titus Spes type. I can't be certain of the exact RIC catalogue number because the legend is fairly illegible.
I voted no...without really knowing for sure. I have a Vespasian that is similar - Spes reverse. Maybe a reverse match? Vespasian Æ As (75 or 76A.D.) Rome Mint IMP CAES VESPAS AVG COS [VI or VII ?], laureate head right / S-C, Spes standing left holding flower and hem of skirt. Holed planchet. RIC 816 (VI) or 894 (VII)? ("CAES VESPAS" var. ?) (9.89 grams / 26 mm)
Cain’t tell ya, Greg...but it looks a lot better than my Uncia... ... can you see the As on this one? Italia Aes Rude - bronze ca 5th-4th Century BCE 29.7mm 32.4g ( Roughly Uncia in denomination)
It could possibly be Vespasian since the Spes type was struck for both and in such a worn state it's difficult to tell them apart ... especially since the photo shows none of the legend.
So difficult to tell their busts apart on worn coins... looks like there is some legend visible - but the photo is not great.. no hints in hand?? I wish I could be of more help to clinch it.. But I am putting in my vote: Titus. (not mine)
