    No thanks from me. Too expensive for me. They were high enough at the original issue price. Don't think they will sell many, as platinum price has cooled down, even though over $2000 today. These are basically bullion coins, and will not sell for much more than bullion price even in the highest grades. Maybe in several years they will sell for a higher premium over melt, but not for a while. Just my opinion.

    This is a very interesting observation... The reverse proof ASE and AGE almost immediately had a numismatic value to them and were selling way over melt. The APE not so - wonder why? I haven't looked at the current mintages for the APE, but I don't believe they have exceeded the AGE mintage of the same design.

    there arent enough collectors for platinum coins :)
