The line on the face is not the same line as the closeup. The ear seems offset in closeup.

USB microscopes can give the impression of things not there sometimes, like doubling etc. Especially on shiny coins, the reflections can play tricks on what one sees. But Meow thinks his ear looks too small, from what Meow sees in your pics.
