Just curious....All I have seen you post are links to ebay sales. Are you just shilling for sales or are you actually curious? My guess is the former.

OP has only shared ebay links since joining in April. I've reported his account, but doubtful he'll get banned.

I also reported after seeing the 3rd post in a day with just links. One can hope that the account goes away. Unfortunately probably just come back under a new name.

How could I be shilling if there never the same sellers? I am new to this hobby and excited to learn more, and want to share my enthuisiasm and passion.

Report me for being new enthusiastic member?? Maybe this is why this hobby has fallen off. You try to scare all the new members like myself.

I did take a look at the first link. That coin looked cleaned and turned me off from even looking at the others.

Maybe you’re being melodramatic and over defensive and have a distorted sense of what I’m trying to do. I reported you for unusual behavior, because your behavior is incredibly unusual. You don’t follow up in the threads you make, you just post a bunch of links to overpriced and cleaned coins from eBay. It’s very suspicious and I wanted it to come to the moderators’ attention so they could look into it. If it scares you away, then maybe you’re doing something you shouldn’t be.

The moderators looked into it. This thread was briefly removed from public view while under review. That might have been premature of me. When no evidence of shilling was found (by another moderator who took the time to review it), I reinstated it.

@Dalladalla80 - just by way of suggestion, you could post some questions or commentary or content other than just a bunch of links. I think people would like to know what you would like to know, or find interesting about the lots in question. Have a discussion, rather than just dropping a bunch of eBay links and leaving.

That made your original post here look like spam, even if it wasn't.

And for what it's worth, as a former collector of love tokens and related exonumia, I do find so-called "Opium dollars" interesting, and that there are so many of them up for sale at one particular time.

I note that many are being sold by "acsb-rich", who has one of the largest selections in the Love Token category on eBay (if some rather optimistic ideas about BIN pricing). I have done business with him several times, and while he drives a hard bargain, the transactions went fine.

Very much this. The intent of this forum is to discuss. Putting in 10 links we have to click on doesn't encourage discussion, it raises suspicions. Feel free to share a coin or two you find interesting and tell us why it's interesting to you (in more than a one-liner). We're not trying to scare you away.
