Unless it is a copper 83 cent, which I highly doubt it is, your coin is only worth face. It is nice looking, but not worth the time/money to sell on your end.
Nice Lincoln, slight misaligned obverse die, the coin is in great shape however there is no shortage and the MAD does not add value. spend it or save for an album.
First, welcome to CT, @Alexander Garcia! The Mint produced a generous amount of these 1983D cents, almost 6.5 billion. An MS-65 would probably be worth around $5. Can you give us a clue as to why you feel this would be anything special, because your pics do not show evidence of uniqueness. Did you weigh it?
It would only make sense to sell if you had a roll of these. As Steve mentioned, there were quite a few 1983 D zinc cents produced.
Welcome to Coin Talk. It will never be worth much...but it will never be worth nothing. It might even turn some funny colors in it’s next 30 years. Save it to refer back to as your collection increases. Only 1 cent invested so far. Show us your finds and post your photos full screen option.
