Hi.. Welcome to CoinTalk. You don't need to create 2 threads for the same coin.
That's a beauty you have there.

I think your images are too dark to make a reasonable assessment.
Use a dark non-reflective background when you take your images.

The coin is actually that color. I haven't seen many copper coins tone that way. I will take your advice about the background. Thank you.

Thank you. But i keep wondering why it is so grey without luster. I thought it might have been cleaned at some point or even a fake.

It may be the pictures but the neck looks flat...

    Some tone that way.
Mostly a matter of the environment it was stored in.

Other than the color it looks good! Here is mine for comparison. Yours has much better details! PhotoEditor_20190620_185027053.jpg PhotoEditor_20190620_185619199.jpg

The specimen doesn't look genuine to my eye..... several items the 1st is mm placement .In a case like this the 1st question I would have something looking this good why has it not been graded?
And that question is usually the correct answer....why because it won't.
Sorry my 2 cents but I would pass

    I have to agree.
When I first saw it, it just doesn't look right. Then why isn't it graded?
I'm no expert and I do hope you have a good coin.
Welcome to CT and don't feel bad as we all have made mistakes when we first start collecting.

I agree that something looks off. I’m not digging into diagnostics, but the color alone looks like it was cleaned or plated.

Just wanted to say that not all key date coins are graded. I’ve got a nicer coin or two that is raw, a 1908-S included in there. They’re not all that expensive until you get to AU+.
