I don’t know why I’m surprised that it takes so long to start seeing new coins, with the exception of Quarters, but I digress... Today I got 2 2019-D cents and a 2019-P dime! It seems like June almost every year here. Do any of you see current coins earlier in the year? Or later?
I tend to see the Philly cents in late Jan/early Feb. I have yet to see a 2019 nickel or dime. Quarters, I've found everything that has been released thus far, minus the Denver mint stuff. I don't usually see Denver stuff until the end of the year.
I haven't seen any Philly stuff here in California and I've only seen the cent, and the first two quarter releases from Denver.
I've found a few Denver cents, and some new quarters, in may, but I live close to an interstate, so its not abnormal in the middle of Missouri.
Funny you mentioned this. It was only very recently that I have seen 2019 coins in my change. The last few days it seems the bulk of my change is dated 2019.
I'm seeing new cents, dimes, and quarters on an almost daily basis now. Still no 2019 nickels. For some reason, the nickels are always the last to show up for me.
Yesterday I received 3 cents out of 4 that were 2019's. Brand new out of a roll and they were stained so badly they are useless except to respond. They just don't make coins the way they used to.
Not so far. How were they supposed to be delivered to the Public? mixed? Used bankrolls mixed with other new 2019 PDS?
Yes, I think just mixed in with the business strike coins and sent to the coin rolling companies for distribution.
Picked up some CWR last night and finally found a 2019 nickel and dime. Six months into the year, wow.
