That a nice and rare one. I don't have a quinarius for now, but one day, maybe... ^^
I prefer Galba than Vitellius or Otho, and i prefer Otho than Vitellius.

I buy one or two coins per year, so i can wait. And sometimes, none for one or two years. Maybe one day i'll have the opportunity to have a quinarius like that with a high state. :)

    Hello everyone,
I have a new one, a sister for CONCORDIA's Aquilia Severa.

IVLIA AQVILIA SEVERA AVG / LAETITIA
    Weight :2,78 gr
    References : RIC 229 / RSC 9a.

It's really a nice one, nicer than the picture.

While the Aquilia Severa is a very nice example, my mind keeps returning to the Galba, a type I have always wanted. Many of them seem to be in less fine silver than other coins of Galba. Is that true or just on the few I have encountered?

That's right, there is more Galba's coins in good shape than Aquilia severa's coins because you have less silver inside in this time. That's why a Aquilia severa coin with a high grade, when it's also well centered, is expensive, even if it's not a rare coin. Galba's coins are also expensive, but not for the same reasons.
