Better 1956 Lincoln Cent struck with a defaced die pictures.

    That damage probably has a lot of history to it. It does look like it was encased at some point.
     
  5. Thank you... there is quite good confident evidence why the mint would have defaced that die.... which I’ve stated before.... that people DON’T want to listen to... The right wheat.... proves a Mint Die gone wrong. The head of it is only half as high as the left wheat. The CENT E-N cross section in the middle is also rotated. It’s an obvious answer to me...

    People are listening, they just disagree. There is a difference. When a coin has as much severe PMD making conclusions based on what little you can see is specious since there is no way to prove a single thing you are saying.
     
  7. It’s better odds that someone mutilated an error coin in that good of state after recovering it than the US Mint mutilating it before it left?

  9. I still owe PCGS $119.00 for a 1959 Lincoln Cent I put in for grading in 2016.
    Which is fine..... I haven’t thought I had anything worth putting in.... there’s a 10% annual charge for outstanding unpaid fees.
