Most of you know that my son, FFIVN, enjoys collecting, identifying, and cleaning ancient coins. He and I started just less than a year ago.

Now that his little sister has turned 3, she wants to do more stuff like her brother. Lately she has been asking to scrub coins with me since I have a few soaking in a container in the downstairs bathroom.

Today I finally let her have a go on a few really crusty ones. She had a blast. I think I may have brought another convert into the fold. :)

Sorry for the bad photo quality. Hard to to direct a 3 year old in cleaning, hold a coin, and take a photo all at the same time.

You should get her a denarius of her own. Maybe a Septimius Severus, as she'll probably think it's a coin of Santa Claus. Tell her is her lucky ancient coin, and not to spend it on ice cream.

Perhaps one of a strong Augusta? Girl power and all that :)

You might want to put the plunger down in the sink or you may be doing some plumbing looking for the coin that went down the drain. Nice to see parents getting their youngsters involved in the hobby with Dad. Precious time spent together , and gives them a great feeling of worthiness helping dad clean coins. Great job Dad keep up the quality time with the kids . Your a stand up guy that puts his family before anything else and I have a lot of respect for you for doing this. Dillan
